Debate Badnarik

Tuesday, October 05, 2004

We have been asking a lot of you lately. But the fact of the matter is that there is a lot to be done, and only a short period of time to get it accomplished. However, if we all work together and do our part as individuals we can help push Badnarik into the debates.

Tonight you have three tasks. They are short, simple, and to the point.

1) Contact the director of the Commission on Presidential Debates and let her know that Michael Badnarik deserves to be included in the debates! Write the most articulate letter you can, but please remember to be respectful, polite, and courteous at the same time. But don't forget to get your message across!

2) Send an email to the directors of the "Open Debates" that have decided against their name sake to exclude Michael Badnarik from their debate. Remember to be polite, respectful, and courteous. But please remember to mention that: by excluding third party candidates they are making the mistake of becoming no different than the CPD, they are insuring that the public will not be fully informed about their choices at the ballot box, and that they are pushing any many potential supporters of their organization. And don't forget to mention once again that Badnarik is on the ballot in more states than any other third party candidate!

The email addresses are:

Greg Farah and Chris Shaw

3) The third item this evening is to contact Washington University Chancellor Mark S. Wrighton whose university will be hosting the second presidential debate. Please let him know that you are personally offended that his university is hosting a debate that is unfairly excluding third party candidates. Please stress that a place of higher learning such as a university should have higher standards than hosting a debate in which certain candidates and viewpoints are not allowed. Again, please mention that Badnarik is the top third party candidate this election and is on the ballot in more states than Nader or any other. Also, please stress that Michael Badnarik is the ONLY small government candidate running this election, and his exclusion from the debates will mean only BIG GOVERNMENT voices will be heard. His contact info is as follows:

(Again, please be respectful, courteous, and polite!)

Here are three objectives that should not take more than 15 minutes or so of your time. Please contact each of the above individuals by as many methods as possible (email, fax, phone, letter, etc.)

Thanks for participating and helping to push Michael Badnarik into the debates! The more pressure we apply RIGHT NOW the more likely we will get into AT LEAST the final debate that Arizona LP has filed an injunction to HALT unless Michael Badnarik is allowed to participate!

Now, please start making those contacts! Thanks so much!
